       中國船舶重工集團公司第七一五研究所，又稱杭州應用聲學研究所，是專業(yè)從事聲學、光學、磁學探測設備研制的重點**骨干研究所。
據(jù)2018年1月GUANWANG資料顯示，研究所有中國工程院院士1名，高中級專業(yè)技術人員700余人，是國務院學位委員會批準的博士、碩士學位授予單位，建有博士后流動站。
研究所是標準化組織聲學技術委員會水聲分委會（ISO/TC43/SC3）和電工委員會第87分委會（IEC/TC87）在國內的技術對口單位 .
